Work at BIO-INDUSTRY - Environmental protection specialist

Due to the further development of our company, we are looking for a person to be employed in the position of:

Environmental protection specialist

Place of work: Chojnice (Pomeranian Voivodeship)

 

Responsibilities:

  • preparation of documentation for new investments: applications for environmental decisions, KIP, reports on the environmental impact of       investments, mainly companies from the RES sector (biogas plants) and the agri-food sector (industrial farms);
  • participation in natural inventories of planned investment sites;
  • preparation of initial reports;
  • preparation of notifications and emission permits;
  • preparation of applications for a decision on the collection, production and processing of waste;
  • preparation of applications for an integrated permit;
  • conducting environmental reporting for clients (in the field of waste management, environmental fees, KOBIZE database, PRTR);
  • participation in the preparation of documentation in order to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Agriculture for placing compost and fermentation residues on the market as fertilizer or soil improver;
  • participation in the preparation of documentation necessary for the approval of biogas and composting plants by the Veterinary Inspection;
  • modeling of pollutant emissions and noise (working with the software: Operat FB, Leq Proffesional).

Expectations:

  • professional experience of at least 2 years in a position related to environmental protection;
  • higher education in the field of studies with a biological and chemical profile (e.g. environmental engineering, environmental protection, biotechnology or related);
  • good knowledge of industry regulations: CAP, EPL, EIA, Waste Act;
  • willingness to develop professionally and constantly improve qualifications;
  • team work skills;
  • practical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Driving license. B.

 

Welcome:

  • good knowledge of industry regulations: veterinary regulations, the Act on fertilizers and fertilization;
  • Practical ability to use programs for modeling the spread of pollution and noise: Operat FB, LEQ Proffesional;
  • knowledge of English or German.
